Most of your social media posts suck.
But the good news is they don’t have to suck.
You can (and many of you should) hire someone to show you how to make social media posts that get seen! Also you can (and should) learn how to write social media posts that engage others.
So many of my clients over the years do not take their social media presence seriously.
One of several things we do for you as business consultants is help you with figuring out who your customer is. When you know your customer it reflects in your social media posts. If you are posting about things your customer has no interest in, you’re going to end up losing customers. if you’re not posting things that are related to your business – you aren’t providing value for your customers.
What thoughts, insights, or ideas are you sharing on your social media posts?
Are you saying anything that others are not?
Are you making anything that’s complex, simpler for others to understand?
If not you should be. This should consume most of your days and nights; you should always continue to improve who you are, and what you bring to the table, especially as a business owner. Regardless of what you do, it will only help you to be the very best you can be at it. You don’t wanna settle for mediocre. you don’t want to be just like everyone else. You want to stand out from the crowd, and then, you need to have something to say!
Posting often on Social Media Helps
There is too much debate out there on whether or not you should post often, or not so often. Personally I tell my clients it’s better to post often than not at all, or rarely. Your customers will forget all about you if they’re not hearing from you.
Think of the things you are dealing with and experiencing from week to week, that could help your potential customers. Invite them to contact you to talk to you about those solutions that you have for them. Be active so that the people you want to invest in you, are seeing your social media posts.
Don’t limit yourself to One Social Network.
It’s true that you don’t want to spread yourself ‘too thin’ – but you also don’t want to limit your self to one social network. There are several Social Networks that you can and should be using to connect with potential customers, and share value with them. If any of what I’m telling you about sounds like it may be challenging, bring in a consultant to help you with it.
In this age of social media, you cannot afford to have social media posts that suck.
Stop having that problem today!
