Came across a great example of business growth from recognizable brands over on facebook today. Yes, the social media giant that far too many of us business owners depend on that crashed for several hours the other day. Facebook, like Instagram which it owns, has become two of the most used places for businesses. Using them to promote their services or products, these platforms make it easy to find target audiences.
However, it’s become clear to many, if it weren’t already, that no business should rely solely on these two social media networks.
With so many options out there, none of us should ever be afraid to expand out to other mediums. Some will argue that you’ll be stretched too thin. Yet, I would suggest that we live in strange changing times. It’s better to have strategies in place, and plans to utilize additional outlets. We’re not here to discuss the channels we market on however. The topic today is Business Growth. Growing ‘beyond’ the social networks that dominate that space, is just one aspect of it.
The post I found on facebook, speaks to logos of businesses – recognizable brands.
Thank of this as a “how it started vs how it’s going” kind of post. I want to give credit to the author as well so I’ll include the ’embed’ – but have also saved this image, to ensure business owners can learn from this simple, yet powerful example. Also, sharing just a ‘slight’ portion of my own advice when it pertains to this matter.
One of the biggest and most common mistakes I see people make when starting a new business, is thinking they gotta have it all RIGHT now — when truth is, there will be a Whole lot you Grow into, As your business grows. Especially your Logo.GET started – and BUILD – make changes ‘along the way’ — But do not wait!!! START! –>
(Some of the brands featured here include, Instagram, Versace, Nike and Apple)
Your business growth is not dependent on having it all together right away.
It depends on you sticking to it, over the long haul. Make changes and adjustments as you grow. Far too many businesses wait for everything to be just right. What you’ll find out while growing your business is that will never be the case, at any point in time. When it comes to a logo, it’s just a way for your customers to recognize who you are, but it won’t be your logo forever! The way you market your business will also change over time.
